Functional Fenestration Inc (FFI) provides electric actuators for the automated remote operation of windows, skylights and curtain wall vents. FFI has provided motorized window and skylight operators since 1987, and today is the expert and leader in the North American motorized ventilation market.

New for 2013! FFI UL Control Panels
		FFI is now approved by UL to assemble Control Panels with UL labels, which FFI is authorized to apply at our facility.
		FFI UL Control Panels act as an interface between FFI DC Actuators and Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems such as Building Automation or Management Systems (BAS or BMS), Home Automation Systems or Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC).
		FFI UL Control Panels contain Programmable Controllers, Power Supply and other components as needed.
		Programmable features include custom control of actuator chain opening length, and actuator signal feedback to confirm open or closed window position.

Basic Types of Actuators for Automation Electric actuators combine a motor and operator in one unit.
		Chain actuators are activated by a chain, and UL recognized models are available (EM, FM, LM, Quasar, Vega).
		Linear actuators for humid environments, sliding windows and other special applications.
		WLS window motors that retrofit onto Truth manual operators are available.

		FFI has a very wide range of models, for natural ventilation and/or smoke evacuation.
		Multiple motorized windows can be operated with one switch.
		Actuators can be concealed from view in frame or curtain wall.
		Low voltage DC actuators are recommended for energy efficiency and safety (some AC models are also available).
		Stainless Steel chains on most motorized operators.
		Almost any opening distance (chain stroke) is possible, from 1 inch to to 40 inches.
		Standard case colors are grey, white, or black available for most models.
		Most models have 2 year warranty, some have longer.
		Most models can be interfaced with Building Management Systems (BMS, BACnet, LON, etc).
		Compatible with most window and skylight brands.

EM, FM, LM Series
		Most EM, FM, and LM DC models are UL Recognized. All models are certified for Smoke and Heat Extraction (SHE).
		LM2 UL light-duty actuators have 2-year warranty.
		EM actuators have centered chain and 2-year warranty. EM UL short stroke and EM UL long stroke versions available.
		FM is the strongest chain drive offered in North America (158 lbs force), with 3-year warranty. FM short stroke and FM UL long stroke versions available.
		Paired actuators include: LM2 Tandem, EM UL Tandem, EM Twin, FM Tandem short stroke, FM UL Tandem long stroke.

Vega and Quasar
		Most Vega and Quasar DC models are UL Recognized, and are SHE certified.
		Vega have attractive casing and are self-adjusting at closure. Synchro-Vega is for wide vents needing 2 to 4 motors. Twin-Vega Synchro is two actuators in one case.
		Quasar are high force actuators and are self-adjusting at closure. Synchro-Quasar is for wide vents needing 2 to 4 motors. Twin-Quasar Synchro is two actuators in one case.
		Quasar-L is a longer Quasar for larger openings. Synchro-Quasar-L is for extra-wide vents needing 2 to 4 motors.

EasyDrive, CDi and RM
		EasyDrive allows programmable settings for actuator status, opening distance, synchronization, speed, force, and window seal pressure. LM EasyDrive and EM EasyDrive actuators and software have 2-year or 10,000 cycle warranty.
		CDi (Chain Drive integrated) are actuators to be designed into a window or curtain wall profile.
		RM locking motors are available to add lock points to compatible windows with LM/2, EM, or FM actuators.

Truth Motors: WLS, HS, Marvel
		Sentry II WLS mounts to a Truth operator on a window, or skylight up to 80 lbs.
		Sentry II HS for heavy skylights up to 160 lbs.
		Marvel AC with plastic case for residential use.
		Truth warranty is one-year for WLS, HS, Marvel.
