What are the reasons for this sales policy? Many of our products are bought and sold only in case volume (wholesale) quantities; many FFI products require specialized expertise in millwork, metal fabrication, and/or electrical installations; and, FFI is structured to best support the above described businesses, who in turn serve the architectural, construction and residential communities.
How do I become an FFI customer?
If you want more information before you open an account, tell us about your needs. Window, door and skylight manufacturers and/or window, door, skylight and hardware retailers may download our Credit Application and fax it to (323) 242-3824. By signing our credit application, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, so please read this carefully for our policies on orders, payments, returns and more. Credit applications must be complete and correct, including an accurate description of the type of business your company performs; all credit applications are verified through commercial credit reporting services and trade references.
After your company's credit application has passed our review, FFI assigns your customer number. Then you will be eligible for pricing and purchases by COD or credit (upon approval), and other customer support including binder catalogs and technical materials.

How does FFI help architects, contractors, and homeowners?
Although direct sales are not made to architects, general contractors, builders, homeowners, or designers, we are happy to help with general product information and referrals. Please note: FFI sells hardware -- not doors or windows. FFI gives referrals to hardware dealers and/or quality window and door manufacturers as appropriate to the product type and to your needs. Contact FFI for a referral.
Architects: ask FFI to send you technical details, CAD drawings, and/or architectural binders; please be as specific as you can about what you want so FFI can help you in the best way possible.
Truth sent me to you for replacement hardware – am I in the right place?
Yes! As the Western regional distributor for Truth Hardware since 1987, FFI can facilitate your purchase of replacement parts through referrals to our network of Truth retailers. Contact FFI for a referral. Truth product details are available in the FFI catalog and at www.Truth.com.
How do customers get pricing? Can I get a price list?
Because we have many product lines with numerous options (sizes, capacities, materials, special finishes, and quantity discounts) prices are by request. Price lists are available to customers for Truth and some other lines. Please tell us what specific type of hardware you are looking for (Truth operators, motors, lift slide, top-hung door hardware, multipoint locks, etc.). Customers can get pricing as follows:
